Hiring a photographer is more than getting someone to hold a camera and snap a few pics. Preservation photography in particular is about zeroing in on details and carefully crafting a story. To me, it’s also about pulling out the positive: focusing on and being grateful for what’s here today while doing our best to preserve the past for our future.  It takes time and patience to catch wonders as they unfold. We can lose them if we don’t gather them in stories or photos!

My photography style is a film-inspired, editorial look – I create timeless, authentic images using a mix of documentary photography (catching life as it is) and classic portraiture (controlling light, backgrounds, clothes, poses, props).
